Our Story
St. Lawrence Valley Roasters
St. Lawrence Valley Roasters was founded by Tim Gardner in 2008. Initially, the roastery was run out of his garage in Lisbon, NY. When he outgrew the space, he moved the roastery to West Potsdam, where it remains today. From the beginning, Tim focused on high quality beans and uses the roast to bring out the unique flavor of each coffee.
Tim Gardner retired in 2023, passing the business to his nephews, Conor and Tim O'Brien. Conor has well over a decade of experience working in coffee, having spent his college years as a barista in Jernabi Coffee Shop in Potsdam. The O'Briens are proud to continue delivering the same quality products. Roasted in St. Lawrence County in the North Country. Somewhere between where the Raquette River and Grasse River flow north.
St Lawrence Valley Roasters coffees are carried throughout the North Country, and can be found at:
- Jernabi Coffee Shop in Potsdam
- The Potsdam Food Co-Op
- Nature's Storehouse in Canton
- River Rat Cheese Shop in Clayton
- Nori's Village Market in Saranac Lake
