sumatra half-caf

Love this coffee. Been buying it for a few years. Discovered it on vacation in 1000 Islands at River Rats. Grind it myself there when I go up during the summer. Otherwise I order online. Love the taste and that it's low acidity. My #1 favorite coffee!

I generally like Indonesian coffees and was intrigued that St Lawrence Valley Roasters makes both a half caff and a decaf sumatra. I know that some brands have decafs that are less profound than the full caff, so I bought the half caff to be on the safe side. It doesn't taste half caff -- which is great! Spicy, roasty notes. Goes great with a chocolate donut. I can't wait to try the decaf next.

This is a great half caf. Plenty of flavor. I’ve enjoyed it for many years. It saves me the effort of figuring out a balanced half caf using separate decaf and regular coffee.
