In the Tarrazu región of Costa Rica, Hacienda Cafetalera Tarrazu lies in the town of San Marcos. The farm is an estate owned by CoopeTarrazu, which has been working to seek more sustainable and practical agricultural practices and improve coffee production in the Tarrazu region. All members of CoopeTarrazu are owners of the farm, which is currently around 4,500 members. Washed, honey, and natural processes occur after cherry harvesting, and all processes are carried out at the CoopeTarrazu mill.They utilize two different drying methods: patio and mechanical drying depending on the quality and process they choose to perform on the coffee as well as client requests.
